2tables was shown at the Industriemuseum, Chemnitz and during Designer´s Open at the Grassimesse in Leipzig.

DIVERSE STORAGE SPACE

Books, magazines or the like lean against the sloped sides of the blowers. Smaller items like CDs, gadgets, accessories or similar can disappear in the drawers. The topography of the surface area is designed to take objects without difficulties. Books can be presented open in the „valley“ of the surface and decoration elements like vases find their place on the horizontal segment.

'Friends' was developed with Mark Bendow and Fine Böhm.

FRIENDS

The single, one-leged pieces of the ensemble couldn´t stand by themselves. Leaning on each other they find stability as an ensemble without losing their individual dynamic character. To support and hold each other - this is the essence of teamwork and the fundamental quality of friendship and has been the inspiration in form, construction and name to the sideboard 'friends'.

LIGHTING

evenly illuminated work space trough LED with daylight quality

MATERIALS

Walnut, oak or smoked oak. Matt white and oiled wood were chosen as surface materials to enhance the different moods of working or living.

FUNCTIONS

Respecting labor laws and ergonomic guidelines during the design process, this table is carefully planned in every detail. With a closer look 2tables reveals several devices, which make working more comfortable.

USABILITY

With an easy move, the closed table surface is changing to a comfortable working space with integrated lighting, magnet- and whiteboard, cable management and storage space.

After work the table surface can be easily closed again, all working materials disappear and create space to enjoy the freetime.

2tables just got nominated again. This time trough the »staged« design award. It also received the PUBLIC CHOICE AWARD.

» Staged Design Award +Show« is a cross-border exhibition of young, german and czech designers and thanks to, 2tables was shown at the interior fair »room+style« in Dresden.
